A big con for me is the absence of regulation, as this could put my funds at risk. Without regulatory oversight, there's no way for me to guarantee the safety of my capital. The Tastytrade platform might be user-friendly and diverse in terms of trading instruments, but the lack of accountability makes me wary. I also feel that some of the Tastytrade fees could be higher than I’d like, particularly when trading options and futures. While the Tastytrade demo account is great for practice, the higher costs and lack of regulation make me hesitant to use it for serious long-term trading. Without being regulated, there’s too much uncertainty surrounding this broker for me to consider it as a go-to platform for my Tastytrade investments.
