TransferWise (Wise) is generally seen as a trustworthy platform, offering low-cost and efficient international money transfers. However, the revocation of its ASIC license leaves it without full regulatory oversight, which could compromise the security of funds and the transparency of operations. From my experience, Wise is trustworthy for smaller amounts, but for larger transfers, the unregulated status increases the risk, especially in terms of accountability and user protection.
