I’ve found that LCM offers competitive spreads across its various account types. For the Standard account, the spread starts at 1.2 pips, which is pretty typical for most brokers. The Fixed Spread account offers a bit more consistency with a starting spread of 1.5 pips, which I think is good for traders like me who want predictability in costs. The Zero Spread account, which starts at 0.0 pips, is really attractive for tight spread traders, but it comes with a $10 commission per round lot, which could add up if I’m making frequent trades. The VIP account, which has a starting spread of 0.6 pips, is a good balance between tight spreads and no commissions. While I appreciate the competitive spreads at LCM, I always have to take the commissions into account, as they can quickly increase the cost of trading, especially if I’m trading high volumes. All in all, the spreads are competitive, but I recommend choosing an account type that best suits my trading style and preferences to keep costs low.
