Yuanta Futures offers several payment methods for deposits, including the Bank-Futures Transfer System, which operates during trading hours from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. For local deposits, methods like ATM, cheque machine, and online banking are available. As a trader, I find the multiple deposit options convenient, though for international transfers, there are additional steps involved, such as specifying account details on the remittance slip. This can be a little cumbersome, so make sure to double-check the details before transferring funds.
Yuanta Futures offers a wide range of instruments, including indices, commodities, currencies, and global futures. This diversity is one of the main reasons I chose to trade with them. I can trade commodity futures like crude oil and gold, currency futures like USD-CNY, and stock index futures. This selection allows me to hedge risks and explore various market sectors. Having access to such a broad range of futures contracts makes Yuanta Futures an ideal platform for both beginners and experienced traders.
Yuanta Futures has a clear and transparent fee structure. For instance, trading Hong Kong index futures incurs a commission of HK$50 per contract, while some mini US futures have a commission as low as US$15. However, there are additional costs such as real-time quotation fees (HK$75 per month) and various service charges like the bank transfer fee (HK$75). Personally, I find the commission structure to be competitive, especially for mini contracts, but I always recommend reviewing all fees before starting trading to ensure you’re aware of any extra costs.
Yuanta Futures offers two main trading platforms: the PC-based “YUANTA EPOLESTAR” and the mobile application “Yuanta Hong Kong GO,” which is available for both Android and iOS devices. I personally like the flexibility of using both desktop and mobile platforms, especially when I need to access my account on the go. Both platforms are user-friendly and provide full access to the range of futures products available on the platform. I find the mobile app particularly useful for trading when I’m away from my computer.
