Yes, SmartSTP does charge commissions depending on the instrument traded. For forex, indices, and commodities, the commission is €5 per lot, while for CFD shares, it’s 0.10% per trade, and for shares, it’s 1% per trade. Personally, I think the commission rates are fairly reasonable, but I do need to factor them in when calculating potential profits or losses. The absence of commission for some instruments, like forex, is a bonus for me as a trader.
