The spreads at CDO Markets are competitive, but they vary depending on the account type. For the STP account, the spread starts at 0.8 pips, which is decent for most traders, but if I want tighter spreads, the ECN account offers spreads as low as 0.1 pips. However, the ECN account comes with a commission of $2 per side, which means I need to calculate whether the tighter spreads outweigh the commission fees. Personally, I’d prefer the STP account for its simplicity and commission-free trading, but for those looking to reduce trading costs and don’t mind paying a commission, the ECN account could be a better option.
