TP Trades has fairly transparent fees. The Standard account doesn’t charge commissions, but spreads start at 1.5 pips. For the ECN account, the spread starts at 0 pips with a $7 commission per trade. Personally, I think the ECN account is better if you’re active and trading high volumes, but the Standard account is perfect for someone who wants a simple and low-cost entry.
